The Wighton Residency (2003-2006)
The Wighton Residency was brought to completion in August
2006. An innovative programme of performance, research and
participative event work, the Residency was designed to unfold
one of Scotland's most important historic music collections
- the internationally prized Wighton Collection of
early printed and manuscript music.
Directed
by Historical Musician in Residence, Dr Sally Garden
(mezzo-soprano and musicologist), and conjointly supported
by the local authorities, Angus Council, Fife Council and
Dundee City Council, the Residency had a 3-year term and was
based at the Wighton Heritage Centre, Dundee.
This archive website records the work of the Residency.
